This Very Collectible Native American Zuni Set features a Bracelet and Ring created by the husband & wife team of Augustine and Rosali Pinto, who are Zuni Artists/Silver-smiths. Their work is collected by the Peabody Museum at Harvard University and the Bing Crosby Collection to mention a few.

The Bracelet features a triple Sterling Silver Wire Band, with twisted wire insets & vertical reinforcing bars at the bracelet face. The Bracelet Face measures 2 1/8” L x 1 ½” W of a 1-piece sterling silver plate, bearing a Tortoise Shell Base with 3-dimensional inlay of Coral, Turquoise and Mother-of-Pearl of the Hopi “Koyemsi” or “Mud Head” Kachina. The Mud Head is a clown-like kachina or drummer who is always cheerful and friendly.

The beautiful scalloped bezel, with twisted wire outline frames this whimsical character. There are rows of sterling silver rain drops at the top and base of the setting. Fits a size 6 3/4 - 7” wrist. The simple elegance of the detailing of the silver work speaks for itself. Excellent Condition – Age: 1960’s – Not marked but tests Sterling Silver – Signature: “ARP ZUNI NM” (NM stands for New Mexico).

The matching RING features a split Sterling Silver Band, supporting a 1 3/8” L x 1” W Ring Face, with a scalloped bezel which frames the Tortoise Shell Base and 3-dimensional inlay of the Mud Head Kachina of Coral, Turquoise & Mother-of-Pearl. The silver work on the ring face is an Exact Match to the bracelet. Fits a size 7. Excellent Condition – Age: 1960’s – Not marked but tests Sterling Silver – Signature: “ARP ZUNI NM” (NM stands for New Mexico).

This Set is highly collectible as are the husband & wife team of Augustine and Rosali Pinto, who are Zuni Artists/Silver-smiths. The quality of their inlay and 3-dimensional shaping is masterful.
