Vintage 1930's Mexican Sterling Silver Link Necklace Repoussé Patterns

This Beautiful Sterling Silver Necklace is beautifully constructed created with repoussé links, showing patterns in relief - made by hand hammering. The Necklace measures 25 1/2” long, in a continuous style, which slips over the head easily.

Each link measures 3/4” L x 1/4” W. Each link is re-enforced with a bar that goes length-wise along the back and ingeniously comes up on either end and forms the figure-8 style connector links. The figure-8's are set with 2mm sterling silver beads in the center. Weight: almost a full ounce. Not marked but tests Sterling Silver. I have a similar necklace to this one and it is marked “MEXICO”. Condition – Excellent – Age: 1930’s -1940’s. This Necklace has been polished.
