Vintage SUN-BURST Colored Rhinestone Brooch Pin Book Piece

This fantastic colorful, early turn of the century brooch features a large sun-burst design with two layers of rhinestones and highly polished gold rays and is slightly domed. The center of the design features gilded gold over a base metal, which is a lovely contrast to the highly polished gold tone metal sun-rays.

The sun rays are wavy and vary in length. This is a very dimensional brooch, bursting with colors. The rhinestones include the following colors: Amethyst, Peridot, Sapphire Blue, Rose Pink, Emerald Green, Vibrant Capri Blue and Golden Yellow Topaz. The stones in the center are larger chaton cuts while the stone radiating out are smaller chatons. Tiny gold bead accents decorate the center of the design adding an ornate and feminine touch.

There are no stones missing and all of them are original to the brooch. The solid construction features four rivets and the pin clasp is in perfect working condition.
