Yaz and Irena, two artists trained in architecture emigrated from Russia to Canada and in 1992 started designing and crafting their creative and playful puzzles for adults as an art form (but children love them too!).

The husband and wife team collaborate on each piece they produce, with Irina doing the design and painting and Raz the building. The common concept of the "jigsaw puzzle" as art challenged them to bring a fresh ingenious presence and a new touch of humor to an old craft. Their giant art puzzles are freestanding sculptures, unusual fun and fantasy pieces. All of their work is one of a kind as each is done by hand. There are no patterns used. These may also be glued and hung on a wall and even framed as box designs.

Their whimsical designs and bold use of colors, combined with a playful imagination have lead to the creation of works that are unique, unexpected pieces of art.

This piece is entitled "the Martini Lady" and measures approximately 15 inches x 10 inches x 2 inches thick and would make a perfect gift for the party giver or the holidays. The design is painted on both sides so can be easily displayed. We will even FREE SHIP AND INSURE USA.
