The figurines are bisque porcelain. They stand 6-1/4in. tall. The bases are approximately 4in. by 2-1/2in.
The girl has stamped in gold lettering: Florence N with a C over it KW 1913.
The boy has stamped in gold lettering: Thomas N with a C over it KW 1913.
The little girl, Florence, has a beautiful face. Her dress is done in shades of mauve. She is holding an apron full of chicken feed. At her feet is a rooster and baby chick. The rooster has a little paint loss on top of his comb.
The figurine is in nice shape, the only thing to note is one of the flowers on top of her head has lost the edges of its petals and a tiny chip on one of the other petals. Close inspection shows a little bit of shininess possibly glue around the flowers. She is so pretty that the flowers kind of disappear when you look at her so although unfortunate the imperfection is minor.
I have not cleaned the piece other than dusting with a soft brush. There are a few little black lines, one on her face and arm. They most likely will come off with the right techniques but I do not want to disturb the hand painting.
The little boy, Thomas, is holding a wooden bucket of feed. He has an impatient goose at his knee. There is a fence behind him. Nothing to report condition wise, his fragile little fingers are intact. I only dusted him off. There are a few short black rub lines. Both figurines would benefit from a bath but I will leave that up to you.
