This is a beautiful original antique 1938 oil on wood board painting by a listed German artist Franz Loffler (1875-1955). It shows a serene landscape with snowy mountains in distance and a small village in the middle of the lake. A peasant is collecting hay in the foreground among late summer rich green fields. Masterful painting! Signed in lower left corner “Franz Loffler, 1938”.
