Original 1941 painting by a listed Italian artist Salvatore Corvaya (1872-1962). The work is a still life with dead chicken hanging by its feet. Ruffled feathers are depicted with great mastery, ready to be touched. It is done in subdued dark hues with soft lighting, subject matter and overall style reminiscent of old master's work. Unique piece!

DATE: 1941

CONDITION: has wear: thin crack in paint layer (see photo), and 2 tiny puncture. Looks amazing nonetheless
