Every morning my chocolate lab and I walk in the woods near our home. We often pass by a pond that is home to a variety of birds. Many mornings we see a great blue heron who I have dubbed "Henry" aka "the patient fisherman". Such a handsome bird!

I made the necklace using PMC (Precious Metal Clay .999 Fine Silver)an environmentally friendly product made using fine silver particles recycled from old film negatives, combined with organic binders, then fired in my kiln until the binders burn off, leaving .999 pure silver.. Once fired, the pendant was tumbled for smoothness, oxidized for depth, and polished for shine.

The pendant hangs an additional 1 1/4" from a 18" sterling silver chain. If your prefer an 16" chain instead, please leave me a note in the sellers box.

This necklace will be carefully packed in a pretty little gift box which will be shipped inside a padded mailer. Shipping is first class, but if you wish to upgrade to priority and/or add insurance, just contact me via email and I will be happy to adjust the listing for you.

The back of the pendant is lightly signed with my initial and marked .999 for fine silver.
