Did you know there are over 300 species of irises? Imagine all that beauty! The name actually comes from the Greek word for a rainbow, referring to the wide variety of flower colors found among the many species.

I made the necklace using PMC (Precious Metal Clay .999 Fine Silver)an environmentally friendly product made using fine silver particles recycled from old film negatives, combined with organic binders, then fired in my kiln until the binders burn off, leaving .999 pure silver.. Once fired, the pendant was tumbled for smoothness, oxidized for depth, and polished for shine.

The pendant hangs an additional 1 1/2" from a 18" sterling silver chain. It is 3/4" wide at the base. If your prefer an 16" chain instead, please leave me a note in the sellers box.

This necklace will be carefully packed in a pretty little gift box which will be shipped inside a padded mailer.

The back of the pendant is lightly signed with my initial and marked .999 for fine silver.
