Advertising Tin Yo-Yo – HOW!

A cheerful graphic figure raises its hands on this colorful advertising yo-yo, possibly from Belgium. The letters HOW are spelled across the figure. Underneath on one side are the words LE MAGICIEN DU LESSIVAGE (French for ‘Magician of Scrubbing’). On the other side are the words GOOCHELT MET HET VUIL. Unfortunately we have not been able to translate this side!

Condition is excellent, with just a few very fine scratches on the face and some edge wear. Otherwise the colors are bright and clean. Most of the string is long gone; about an inch or so still remains. The first two pictures are scans – they show the true colors. For some reason the photographs turned out darker, but they show the sides and edges well.

What a fun and attractive piece to add to either a yo-yo or advertising collection, or to give as a gift to a collector!
