It's not too early to begin thinking about Christmas! Look at all our gift possibilities - and let us gift wrap for you!
Condition is very good. There are a few fine scratches, probably from stacking, that can be seen in the photos. Raised gold dots (beads) were painted around the image cameos; a few are missing, most noticeably right in the middle between the two images. There is also just a bit of the green glaze missing there. And there is a little wear on the gold edging. There are no chips or cracks. A very small (1/4) section on the back seems to have missed being glazed and the ring in the center of the base is a little rough. This dish measures just under 12" across and is a deep 2" in height.
This same plate (in pink rather than green) can be seen in Marple's 'R.S. Prussia: The Art Nouveau Years' on page 93.
Its impressive size, as well as those wonderful hidden romantic ladies, make this a beautiful display piece. Imagine it displayed in your own home
In order for this dish to be properly protected for shipping, we will use an oversized box. That adds quite a bit of expense to Priority Mail we can ship using Parcel Post if that is desired.
