We have put many items on sale for Christmas--check us out!
The center transfer is of a rather mischievous young lady who appears to have stolen Cupid’s arrow filled quiver. Cupid has retaliated by handcuffing the lady with a silken scarf. They are both smiling at the game – who will make the next move?
Lovely flowers with hand painted details surround the pair. The cobalt rim is rich and deep – the color of the last photo with the ruler is the most true to life. Gold is used to trim the outside edges and the raised areas of the mold.
Condition is excellent. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. The outside edge shows some wear, but otherwise decal, gold trim and paint are all intact. The plate measures just about 10” and features two cut out handles.
Although unmarked, this is such a vibrant plate that it fits right into a display of fine early china and porcelain.
