Here is a celluloid pocket bank showing the bank on one side and the rate of return - 3% -on the reverse. Hey, that’s not any better than today, and we guess this bank is from the 1920s!!

Oval dime banks are not as common as the round banks, making this bank one of the more difficult to find.

This bank does show some wear. At some point it has gotten wet, showing some rust and wear on the edges. The celluloid is discolored on both sides.

What a great way to carry dimes, when a dime meant something.
