Satin is the feel and pink is the color of this hand blown glass dresser box or jar. Cheerful yellow and orange flowers adorn the top and sides to brighten up any young lady's day. I visualize a young girl with her first powder jar, excitedly dipping her brush and tapping it across her face. What a grown up feeling!

The name Temmering is signed on the back of the box. I have been unable to locate Temmering either as an artist or a place. There is, however, a Semmering, Austria, which has long been a favored vacation spot. It is possible that this item is a souvenir item from Semmering, but I can't say that for sure.

This dresser box measures 3.75" in diameter and 3" high. It is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or scratches on the satin finish. The gilt metal mounting is in good shape; both the clasp and hinge are nice and tight. It is just waiting to become part of your art glass or dresser box collection!
