This beautiful vase has both a glowing iridescence and a wonderful satiny feel to it. It picks up green tints at its base, while the rest is a lovely soft cranberry. Vertical lines add to the iridescence, while pinched spots create interest and give this vase an elegant, flowing shape. The metal collar is cut into a thistle design. This is a beautiful piece of Bohemian Glass from the late 1800s. The glass is a light cranberry. Gold fan-shaped designs have been painted on the glass, and further embellished with white “icicles” along the edges of the gold, and with pink, turquoise and white paisley type designs.
