Who wouldn’t want this loyal, intent dog guarding his inkwell? This great inkstand dates to probably the early 1930s and comes from Germany. This is a simple yet very elegant inkstand from the end of the 1800s or possibly early 1900s. It is made of heavy brass, shaped perfectly to catch those ink spills. The glass inkwell is cut into a wonderful faceted pattern. It has a very pale pink tone to it, which is difficult to see in the photos.
