SALE Masudaya (Modern Toys) Rotary Car-with Box!

$270 USD SaleSALE Masudaya (Modern Toys) Rotary Car-with Box!

Collectibles:Toys:Windup:Japan
What a remarkable find! Not listed in William Gallagher’s "Modern Toys From Japan. But…..an example, although a different color variation, and manufacturer (U N) is exhibited in the Toyoji Takayama Tin Toy Museum. We don’t use the word "rare" very often, but this toy may qualify. Playful Animal Swing by Yoneya – MIB

$220 USDPlayful Animal Swing by Yoneya – MIB

Collectibles:Toys:Windup:Japan

The box is in nice condition, with some edge wear and a tear held together by a paper clip. At some ...

Possibly a little later based on the lithography and box. We couldn’t find any details on this Japanese toy company, other than their trademark. Wind the toy up and it races along the floor. It then does a couple of flips and races along some more. Notice the clown’s flat head. Must have gotten that from doing lots of flips! Both the toy ...
