"Foxglove Seed Packet" - Original Watercolor On Masonite

I was inspired to paint Foxglove after spending a good deal of time photographing some of the summer gardens I had been visiting at the time. I knew that I wanted to create a different type of painting and had become intrigued by the art I was seeing on actual seed packet covers. This inspired me to create a seed packet of my own, with some of my favorite flowers, Foxglove.

This painting measures a 11" x 14" and is painted using professional grade watercolors on masonite board. This piece has been sprayed with a protective sealer to add to its durability and sheen.

It comes ready to hang with a hook on the back for a very modern look or it can be framed to fit a more traditional taste. Either way you choose to display it, this painting is full of beautiful summertime color.
