REJA Sterling Turtle Brooch

This Reja Sterling Turtle has personality plus from the smiling expression on his face, to his sapphire blue eye; right down to the jaunty lift of his tail! For the turtle or figural collector this unusual Reja is the crème de la crème. He has pave clear crystal rhinestones on his head, feet and along the scalloped edge portion of his shell. In the indentations making up the patterning of his shell there are tiny pale blue crystal rhinestones. He has a very light gold wash. The measurements are approximately 2 1/2” x 2 1/2” and weight is 0.7 oz. He is in excellent condition. One like him is featured in Judith Miller’s book “Costume Jewelry” on page 193 with a stated value of $190-240.
