This is a Victorian sterling chatelaine piece of repousse and pierced work case with a carved tortoiseshell comb. It is 3 2/8" X 3/4". It is repousse with extensive pierced work on one entire side and a repousse work border with a flat panel with four beautiful Victorian script letters on the other side. It has a sterling hallmark which is not legible to me with the strongest magnification I have available but, it tests sterling. It is in excellent condition.
