What an incredible runway quality handbag from the mid 20th century. If you love high fashion with a European flair this exceptional handbag will be a shining star in your accessories. It is couture of the finest caliber.

The Spanish are well known for their expertise in leather crafting and it shows in this fabulous purse. The leather is black and the front and back sides are, according to the paper insert, faced with giraffe fur.

The purse is on the large size but not overwhelming. Note the stylish buckle adornments on the front. There are two black leather covered cylindrical bars across the top embellished with a fold over clasp that holds securely. The interior is natural leather that has a zipper and side pocket on one side and a long side pocket on the other.

It comes with its original separate wallet and identification card. The card translates as: Skin: White And Black Giraffe (Piel: Jirafe blanca y negra). Lining: Natural (Forro: natural).

Condition: Excellent vintage.

Size: Measures 14” east-to-west at the base. Measures 12 & ¾” east-to-west at the top. Measures 8” north-to-south and almost 4 & ½” across the bottom. When opened and extended to the fullest it measures 9” across.

Identification: Made In Spain. Words are embossed on the upper interior inside the handbag.
