Victorian Solid Gold Spectacle Eye Glasses HAIR PIN on Orig. Card is one of those relics from the past that congers up visions of a lady of means, sitting in her short rocking chair doing tedious needle and thread work. The hair pin stuck in a teased up-do hair style and the chain hooked to a pair of bow-less glasses (Pince Nez), held only by a nose bridge.

This one is still on it's original card marked "Solid Gold" and it tests a minimum of 10K. weighing 1.3 grams. The top of the hairpin is decoratively finished and over the years has a nice patina.
