ART NOUVEAU 12K GP 3-D Hollow Fancy Fob Charm Bracelet shimmers with 5 ornate charms.
Two of the hollow charms capture the puffy Rococo Baroque styles of the 18th Century. The lacey open work charms are each unique - with one styled like a Chinese lantern, one as flower petals and the center fob as a caged wax seal.
These bracelets held popularity around 1900 and represent the design styles from the late Victorian Era, through the Art Nouveau and Edwardian periods. A lovely example can be seen in "100 Years of Collectible Jewelry" by Lillian Baker, Pg. 90. The chain, thumbless clasp and fobs are all 12K Gold Plate.
I see no markings on the bracelet, and tests positive for 12K plate.
Condition: Excellent Antique - I find the slightest of plate loss to the thumbless spring ring clasp under the loupe.
Measurements: Bracelet Chain - 7 1/2" Long Fobs vary in size, with the longest at 1 1/2" x 5/8" wide.
