Fantastic!!!This is a knock-dead set!! Juliana doesn't get any better than this! According to Nancy Schiffers book "Rhinestones", the beautiful cabochons used in this Grand Parure were hand - carved and painted in Austria, this information can be found on page 44. Each tiny little daisy is enhanced with a sparkly little fuchsia (original) rhinestone in the center. These flower cabochons are surrounded by vitrail aurora borealis chatons.
Different brooches were made that go with this set....and this one has the leaf brooch. It has the teal flowerette and two of the cabochons. It measures 4" long and 1-3/4" across. The necklace 18" and the drop is over 2" with the flowerettes on it also...the photos should tell the entire story and I took alot so you can see every aspect of this beauty.
These precious and rare glass cabs are enhanced with various shades of blue, teal and vitrail aurora borealis chatons and marquis. This is an amazing and highly sought after Juliana set consisting of necklace, bracelet, brooch (pin) and earrings.
There are also flowerettes as the final accent to all of the pieces, (except the bracelet and they would catch),with the teal center and blue chatons surrounding that....I think the teal in this set is what really makes it 'POP'.!..
You won't be sorry about investing in this wonderful parure...this is not a reject or some collectors cast-off because of flaws...this set is as close to mint as you will find out there.Heavy gold-tone plate in excellent condition. The reverse reveals a built in pin assembly, rivets, figure 8 puddling of solder, All elements being consistent with D & E construction.
This is a rare and glorious Juliana set that is guaranteed to bring years of enjoyment. You won't be sorry about investing in this wonderful parure. Not only a piece of wearable "Art", but an Investment for the future.
