This Neoclassical Style Mahogany Cylinder Bureau, Germany, c.1900 is in Excellent Condition. Featuring Brass-mounted with a shaped top with a fall-front forming a writing surface. The roll top enclosing drawers and a writing surface. The lower part with one long drawer above two drawers to the left and a cabinet to the right of the kneehole which conceals an additional cabinet. The right side also contains a secret door for more storage. The roll-top desk was made famous by Louis XV, who commissioned a desk that would ensure his important documents were not being viewed by others.
