This Serene Landscape Oil on Canvas "Rydale Water" is in Excellent Condition,c1867. Signed and Dated on the Lower Right Hand Corner as pictured, Barbara Leigh Smith, English, Flourished between 1850-1870. This Painting demonstrates amazing intricacy and detail, please note the incredible mist above the hills that is superbly done. Measuring 26" x 42" encased in an Antique Ornate Gilt-wood Frame, the painting is a must have for the Elite Bovine Art Collector. This is one of the Best I have had the pleasure of offering.
