Offered for your consideration, this wonderful antique Italian Pietra Dura brooch. This piece is in excellent condition. It measures 2-1/3" across by 1-3/4" tall. It is a masterful artform to create this original mosaic. The black marble is carved in recess to create space for the inlaid gems. The finished result is perfectly smooth on the face. A rare and extraordinary treasure! This brooch is the last of a set of three which came from an estate in England.
