Offered for your consideration, this extraordinary real Victorian hair watch chain with fob. The metal in this piece is rolled gold and is inset with tiny rubies. The fob was made to be engraved with initials, but was not. The detail on all the findings is truly beautiful and elegant in design. Chain is 11" long. This was a memorial piece in most cases, sometimes it was given as a love token. The weaving of the hair is remarkably complex!

The centerpiece stone is amber in color and faceted on the reverse. The brooch is 2" across by 1-1/4" tall. There is some wear on the face of the stone, however this piece is otherwise in excellent condition. Fabulous!

Offered for your consideration, this rare and fabulous true Victorian treasure! This piece is carved of Bog Oak, an oak wood which as been hardened in the bogs of Scotland. This piece is in very good antique condition. It has a very early pin and "c" hoop with extended pin point. It measures 1-5/8" across and is quite three dimensional. It is true black, more so that it looks in the photos. It is certainly a piece to cherish and treasure!
