Founded by Michael Marks in Leeds, England, in 1884, St. Michael was the house brand of UK based department store chain, Marks & Spencer. He was joined by Thomas Spencer in 1894, and the first proper shop opened in 1904.

The St. Michael brand was Registered in 1928 and by 1950 all goods sold at Marks and Spencer bore this brand name. The brand name was discontinued in 2000.

This particular Chiffon and Nylon Peignoir Set dates to the 1960's and is in mint condition.

Fluffy billows of puffy candy pink chiffon over a short pink nightgown.

The double layer - chiffon over nylon vintage peignoir robe by St. Michael has a gorgeous double layered collar and pouffy sleeves. One button closure at the neck. Excellent condition, appears unworn.

The baby doll gown itself is embellished with pink ribbon and white lace along the neckline and straps with a sweet little bow at the neck & more white lace and pink ribbon at mid hem. Double layer - chiffon over nylon . Excellent condition, appears unworn.

Size is Medium.
