Done by well known porcelain artist of the early 20th century "Rancon". Artist Rancon is a French artist listed and featured in many of the leading publications regarding collecting antique hand painted Limoges porcelain works of art.
This is a masterpiece, striking Coronet Limoges serving bowl with bunches of grapes and a heavy gilded border.
This bowl measures 10" across and is 2 1/2" deep.
Double Backstamp: Coronet Crown (George Borgfeldt) and Limoges * France Mark 1 (Latrille Freres)
Other than one small chip near on the border, the bowl is in wonderful condition.
The colors are vivid and very eye catching. the artists brushstrokes can easily be seen and his choice of colors is breathtaking.
Heavy gold border is 99% intact.
