Antiques with Distinction want its Customers to be satisfied with their purchases.
We attempt to describe the Piece(s) offered for purchase as accurately as possible; however, we do not warrant that the descriptions are accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free. Antiques with Distinction may issue to the buyer an “Antiques with Distinction certificate” for the Piece(s) purchased. These certificates provide detail on the Piece acquired, photos, dimensions, descriptions, estimated date of creation, as well as additional relevant information. The certificate is purely informative. The certificate has been established truthfully and is based on the information available to Antiques with Distinction. It does not replace an official appraisal for the acquired Piece(s). Antiques with Distinction and its staff are not appraisers or legal experts.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
No Piece will be picked-up, delivered or shipped before payment clears. There are no exceptions.
Antiques with Distinction may offer to deliver Piece(s) through its own means for Customers located in the New York area or Western Pennsylvania for a delivery charge. Some other Piece(s) may be available for pick-up where ever they are kept. Most Pieces will require shipping. Antiques with Distinction will let the Customer know at time of purchase whether the Piece is available for pickup, delivery or shipping.
If any Piece requires shipping, the Customer is fully responsible for shipping and packing. Antiques with Distinction may refer on request a specialized mover or carrier and may even act on behalf of the Customer to arrange transport and packing for a handling fee. Antiques with Distinction’s referral of a mover or carrier is not in any manner an endorsement of any mover or carrier. The Customer may contract its own mover or carrier. All shipments will have to be insured or use bonded carrier. If the customer cannot provide confirmation of proof of insurance for the transport, Antiques with Distinction may require a signed waiver and Antiques with Distinction declines all responsibility on any damages linked to transport and packaging.
The Customer is fully responsible to inspect shipments it receives and to file a claim with the carrier’s insurance if any damage is present. Antiques with Distinction declines any responsibility for damages noticed after delivery. A customer must contact Antiques with Distinction within 24 hours of receiving any Piece(s) to report any damages or any other issues with the shipment upon receipt.
Restocking Fee:
Antiques with Distinction want its Customers to be satisfied with their purchases.
The original buyer shall have the right to arrange within 3-days of delivery return of the Piece(s) it acquired for a refund of the purchase price less a restocking fee of 25 % of the Piece price indicated on the final invoice, shipping cost, insurance costs and any other fees incurred with the sale of the Piece.
A customer wishing to return any Piece(s) must send written notice via e-mail trough this website within 3-days of delivery. Antiques with Distinction will provide, within 3 additional days, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and the exact address for the return. Customer will have to arrange shipping and insurance of the returned Piece(s) within 7-days of the RMA at its own expense. The Piece(s) must be returned via the original carrier (unless agreed otherwise in writing), in its original packaging, insured for its purchased price. The Piece(s) must be received in the same condition as when it was shipped.
Customer will be informed within 3-days of receipt of the returned piece of any damages. If no damages are present, a refund will be processed within 3-days. If any damage is noticed, Customer agrees to pay in full all restoration costs but may open an insurance claim with the carrier if damages resulted from transport.
Other Information:
Prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars. Payment must be made in U.S. Dollars except if agreed otherwise in writing. Such prices do not include shipping or delivery, handling, sales taxes, if applicable, transport insurance or any additional service requested by the Customer, which will be added to the total invoice price. The Customer requesting out of state delivery is responsible for any state and local sales or use taxes that may apply, as well as any custom clearance fee and tax when Piece(s) are shipped outside of the United States of America.
Antiques with Distinction accept checks, wire transfer, money orders, major credit cards and paypal®.
All payments must clear before Piece(s) can be picked-up, delivered or shipped.
In case of a complaint following a sale, the Customer agrees to use all reasonable means to contact Antiques with Distinction and amicably solve the issue before taking any further actions. The customer will bear all costs associated with a disputed credit card charge that results in any action from Antiques with Distinction's merchant account provider (“Chargebacks”).
