You are looking at a magnificent Doulton Burslem Ceramic Jardinière dating from 1897. It is a large piece measuring 10" across at the opening, the circumference is 36", bottom is 6" and it stands 9" tall. It features a beautiful flow blue pattern “Gloire de Dijon” named after the old cottage rose. It has a blue rim with gold line accenting the base of the rim. This gorgeous pot has no chips, cracks, scratches or any damage. It is marked on the bottom with the Doulton Burslem rosette and crown mark. Under the crown is Gloire -De.Dijon and under that is R&No.307815. It is quite a remarkable piece to add to a collection.
