This matte yellow McCoy vase was made in the early 1940's. It part of the butterfly line, which is one of McCoys most popular lines to collect, and this is a hard to find piece. You can not read any marks on this piece which is not unusual for this design pattern. It measures 7" by 6" and the name of this piece is "Castle Gate Vase". There are no chips, but I do see crazing and two stress marks - I have pictured in the close up photos. My McCoy reference book lists the value at $80 - $100.
