SALE Antique Majolica Pottery Umbrella Stand Circa 1910

This interesting antique majolica pottery umbrella stand is one of the most unique that we've been fortunate enough to stumble across. The colors are deep, in shades of navy blue, gold & green, and flow beautifully into one another. I was told by a dealer that it might possibly be by McCoy, but I have nothing to substantiate that. The design around the top and around the base is a Greek Key design, which we've never seen before on a piece of this size. Then, there is also a ribbed (pillar) design that is horizontal & runs all around the piece. It is in VERY GOOD CONDITION, meaning that although not perfect we have only found a few places where it has teensy nicks which were probably caused by umbrellas going in and out over many years. Otherwise, there are no other chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. This piece is circa early 20th century, around 1910.

It measures 20" in height, 10" in diameter, and is a very thick, heavy piece.
