This is such a gorgeous vase that you'll want to have it for your own! Circa 1900, maker unknown American Brilliant Period: 1875-1915). This lovely piece was cut on a very heavy blank and features copper wheel cut flowers which are a sort of focal point, meaning that this vase was actually made during the American Brilliant Flower Period (1906-1916). The remaining cuts are deep & very well defined, making it twinkle in any light. It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, meaning that although not in mint condition we found no major problems, just several very teensy nicks to the inside of the sawtooth rim. None of them can be seen as easily as they can be felt. It also has a fair amount of wear (in the form of very light scratches) to the base which is consistent with the age of this piece. This piece has been black light tested & glows a sickly yellow, which is consistent with ABP cut glass. When very gently tapped, it has a very high-pitched, long ring to it.
It measures a stately 10" in height, 4-1/8" diameter at the top, 4" diameter at the base and is approximately 1/2" in thickness.
