We are quite pleased to be able to offer you another stunning piece of American Brilliant Period (1875 - 1915) cut glass. This is an acid washed piece, probably from the late 1800's, which can be determined by the exquisite clarity of the glass itself. It simply sparkles, has absolutely no blurring, and pocesses the most beautiful ring when very lightly tapped. We believe this piece was made by J. Hoare, although it isn't signed as far as we can tell. It has been black-light tested and glows the yellow-green of other pieces this age, indicating that it is indeed an early piece of glass. This lovely bowl is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, meaning that it is as close as it gets to mint condition. Surely, this piece was kept in a china cabinet & seldom used, as you don't see all that many pieces in this kind of condition. You will not be disappointed with this one.
It measures 6" in diameter and 1-1/2" in height, being approximately 1/2" in thickness.
