This is a wonderful silverplated serving tray from Wallace Silversmiths in their ever popular "Baroque" pattern from the 1940's. It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, meaning that it has no problems other than very light wear marks from normal use. It is the perfect size for serving whatever you like, whether for a formal dinner or a buffet. The handles are very ornate and the rest of the tray is plain. No monograms. This wonderful vintage silver plated meat platter with cover features a tree well & a gadroon trim on the platter as well as the cover. The hallmark on the bottom suggests that these pieces were made in at least 1928 or closely after, as the hallmark suggests the transition from one company to the other. This gorgeous silver plated cream & sugar set was made in Sheffield, England by the company James Deakin & Sons (1871-1939). We estimate this set to be circa 1920's. It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, meaning that we detect no signs of wear or damage of any kind. Both the creamer & the sugar bowl have the James Deakin hallmarks on the bottom, although we were not able to find markings on the stand. However, it was clearly made for this set. This is a wonderful silverplated bread tray by Reed & Barton & bears the familiar marks on the bottom. It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, meaning that there is no damage of any kind, although it will need a good polishing at some point. There is no plate missing and no pitting visible. It measures 11-3/4" in length, 6-1/2" in width, and stands approximately 1-3/4" in height.
