REDUCED Early 20th Century Hand Painted Stouffer Fine China Luncheon Dessert Plates Set of Eig

$440 USD ReducedREDUCED Early 20th Century Hand Painted Stouffer Fine China Luncheon Dessert Plates Set of Eight

Porcelain:Vintage Hand Painted Stouffer China
I am so pleased to be able to offer this exquisite set of eight hand-painted luncheon/dessert plates, circa 1939. Stouffer was an early to mid twentieth century porcelain decorating firm in Chicago that competed with Pickard, who had styles very similar to Stouffer. Stouffer & Pickard were known for purchasing blanks from Limoges (among other companies) and painting them for the American market. However, other than the gold stamped "Stouffer Fine China" on the bottom of these, there is no way of ...
Antique Pair of Limoges France Gold Decorated Porcelain Serving Plates Marked Lanternier Limog

$225 USDAntique Pair of Limoges France Gold Decorated Porcelain Serving Plates Marked Lanternier Limoges France Circa 1890s

Porcelain:Antique:19th Century Hand Painted Limoges
These two plates are absolutely charming with their heavy gold gilt trim and design, as I've never seen anything like them. Rather than the usual floral designs, these two plates feature a lovely hand painted gold flower at the center of a coiled vine that also exhibits little coils sprouting all about. It reminds me of Morning Glories. The design is quite whimsical and I should think, rather unorthodox for the 1890's. The bottom of both plates bear the Limoges, France Lanternier No. 3 Mark, as ...

The pattern is "Violette", which is a wonderfully detailed & intricate pattern. The CONDITION IS EXCELLENT, meaning that although it isn't in mint condition, there are no nicks, chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. The interior of the bowl shows some light utensil marks and the original gold highlighting is mostly gone, but it is still a most presentable piece. It measures ...

$22 USDEarly Hand Painted Shabby Chic Porcelain Cup and Saucer Marked Habsburg Austria

Porcelain:Vintage:Early China Tea Cup Sets
This charming cup & saucer set was hand painted in Austria, sometime after the turn of the 19th Century to the 20th, but perhaps as late as 1920. Approximately half of the original gold trim still exists. The design is pink roses, blue periwinkles, & sprays of greenery.
