From my own personal collection of elegant LOUIS VUITTON bags, this one is the 'Verseau' model, dates to 1981 and is in remarkably fine condition. I have worn it only a few times and it has been stored in dust bag (generic, will not come with LV dustbag). Comes from a pet and smoke-free home, no odors to the bag and no stains or unsightly aspects. The style is one of the more modern yet I believe discontinued ones. Roomy bag inside and travels beautifully with my MacAir laptop computer tucked inside along with other essentials. As you can see, it's fabulous for travel along with my favorite LV duffle, that black epi one. So classic. Don't let anyone kid you - BLACK is the new black! As with all items we sell, we guarantee authenticity. The date code on this Verseau is right where it's supposed to be on that inside key tab, though in a tough spot to get a good photograph. Code on this one is SP0081 for a made in France bag from (I believe) 1981. Foldover leather top anchors with a magnet inside the bag, for protection and for a nice sleek look. From casual travel or shopping to elegant evenings out, you'll love this bag!

Very good to excellent condition, no stains, dirt, grunge, damage or worn spots to report. Lightly used, guaranteed authentic. Handle is not damaged or cracked, and no worn spots even on the bottom. A near-pristine vintage bag!
