Don't believe them - BLACK is the new black, always! The dust cover and box are newer, but they are perfect to continue the excellent condition of this beautiful vintage 1980s purse. The color is rich black, in such good condition - and is just spectacular with many of my favorite Hermes scarves. The handle strap is supple, undamaged, as is the leather of the bag, apart from a light evidence of use over the years. No splitting, no cracking from poor storage or too much use or wear. Interior is sectioned and ready to organize your essentials. The strap goes from the doubled-over position we've got it in for photos, to a full shoulder strap with the flick of the usual Hermes button-like latch on each end. Great versatility with this vintage 'Constance'. The bag is rich black in color, as noted, and can be taken in for a spa treatment at your nearest HERMES boutique if you want it done, but believe me, you won't need it for this one. I've confirmed that they will accept it, which confirms the bag's authenticity, too. We guarantee our vintage luxury bags, from these Hermes to our Louis Vuittons and others - no fakes! Yes, bag comes with the vintage dust bag and storage box shown, though the box is a new one from the Paris HERMES boutique and are authentic.

Excellent used condition. A bag that looks like it has almost never been out of its dust bag (the dust bag shown did come with this bag, though it's with a newer authentic HERMES box to add to your collection, too. No leather splits or cracks, and only the very lightest apparance of age or use. A superb bag!
