Absolutely Stunning & Rare 19th Century French Old Paris Sevres Style Bisque Porcelain Jardiniere with Hand-Painted Cherubs, Applied Floral Decoration and the MOST Delightful Use of Coloring!! What a wonderful motif, too! In the shape of a basket with celeste blue/bleu rope handle and tassels, basket weave pattern and fantastic porcelain flowers (front & back!) Angelic child or cherub figures sit on each side, holding/playing flutes and simply fabulous!! Impressive size, thick heavy bisque! The base has several impressed and enamel/painted markings including "Depose" and a cipher maker mark (similar to Sevres but we're not sure of the exact maker so if you recognize it, please email and we'll add your info to the listing). A truly magnificent piece and a price you'll find very (very) easy to justify!!! Very Good-Excellent Condition! Only a few chipped flower petals, amazing considering the age and delicate nature of the piece! The rope handle is stable, with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs!! Each figure is pristine, no missing details! See pictures for measurements.
