Stunning Sterling Silver Raised Dish, Great for Your Collections Display!

This isn't a really expensive antique, but rather a nice vintage sterling silver 'tazza' or raised dish - a 'bon-bon', to be exact. But it's BIG on style, and really beautiful as a piece on which to display your collections of small treasures. They say 'God is in the details', and you can see why it's true. The simple elegance of a dish like this one, whether used on your Holiday table, or just on a tabletop to show off your pretty things, is something we all look for. This one is beautifully shaped, deeply fluted/scalloped, so it really does such stunning things with light. Draws the eye, for certain, as if the things you'll display in it won't, right? Vintage rather than antique, we'd guestimate it to 1945, slightly before perhaps. Very good condition, no dents or dings, is maker marked 'International' as you can see in our images, and is a smashing vintage sterling piece, heavy and sturdy with hollow base. Could use a good buffing for the tiny rubs of years of use, but it has no deep scratches that would be tough to remove. A great piece!
