This ring comes to us from Germany and along with a fabulous estate collection that includes a 38-panel c.1780-1819 micromosaic necklace that is a museum masterpiece; a 1 carat diamond ring and a platinum and diamond watch that are both to die for. The estate has many fine piece, and this is perhaps one of the more mudane yet beautiful of the bunch. We believe these are emeralds, owing to the quality of the estate, but we are not positive of it. We'll put a low price on and will allow returns if you find out it is deep peridot instead of real emeralds, too. We have not had it appraised, but we do believe, as said, that it is a trio of emeralds. What we know is that it is a fine quality 14K gold trilogy ring, beautifully set with emerald colored stones, also of high appeal. The .585 is the German designation for 14K gold, or .585 purity. The ring is heavy, substantial, not light like today's jewelry. A fine piece for your collection, and a bargain waiting to be had.
