It's part of a larger estate of fine antique jewelry we've just bought out of Germany, and the heavy gold setting is ample proof of the quality and age of the piece. Far more substantial than modern settings, the gold value alone is well worth the price we've set to it. The cameo is a pretty profile hand carved of natural shell. Elegant Italian artistry, beautifully preserved. The ring is large, but can be easily sized down to fit (easier to size down than to enlarge, after all).

Very good condition, no chips or cracks in the shell cameo, no damage to the 14K gold.
