A wonderful late 19th century to early 1900s Italian micromosaic brooch mounted with elegant gadrooned setting and unique malachite band inlays! Fabulous, tiny glass tile tesserae arranged between to inlaid half moon shaped pieces of malachite....a miniature masterpiece! Our mosaics inventory has been reduced quite a bit in the last few years, we keep looking though and trying to bring you the best of the best! Very good condition! No missing tesserae (except for maybe a sand sized piece at the tip of one petal, upper right side of floral inlay) and no damage to the goldstone! There are two extremely minor fractures or surface scratches on the lower/left malachite but it is not loose in any way. Display...decorate...accessorize to your heart's content!! :) See pictures for measurements.
