Just in from France, and one of the finest old French Empire frames we've got in stock, this one is perfect for your collection/display of antique frames. Great old dore bronze, with a replacement moire silk mat accented by the little classical figural ormolu, just the way we love them. The inner frames/mats for small photos are unique, though, and we have not seen these types before. Very appealing, brilliant. Original back, easel stand, back hanging loop - all intact and in fine condition. This is one fabulous frame! Very good to excellent condition throughout. No damage, breaks, losses, o rmissing ormolu trim. Baskets of flowers and garlands are the theme for this fine old frame, and crossed torches and wreath, too. WOW! Measurements in our photos.
