Large 19th C. Signed Portrait Miniature on Ivory, Ornate Gilt Frame

Fabulous antique Victorian hand painted portrait miniature on genuine ivory wafer, artist "Gaby" signed and set in an ornate 7 1/4" cast gilt ormolu frame! Okay so the frame and miniature are not original to each other but aren't they superb together! Larger than average, the ivory painting is 3 7/8" x 3 1/8" and still has the original drop beveled glass and vellum seals! Unidentified but the sitter is a relatively :) handsome woman with flamboyant hat & large plum! Fine detail to the painting, I've added quite a few scans & close-up photos so....prepare to be impressed.

Very good condition! No damage, water or otherwise, to the painting. As stated, the glass, ivory painting/wafer and backing are all original and sealed with the thin vellum band. The frame is of cast gilt ormolu or a similar allow, not original to the painting but compliments it beautifully.
