Wonderful antique French 1820-40s hand painted portrait miniature on ivory, a semi 'naughty' female with vivid coral necklace and artist 'A. Donet' signed! Displayed in an ebonized wood frame, simple but elegant and in fine condition. The painting is very well executed, wonderful detail with both an attractive sitter and alluring pose. A carved coral necklace prominent on her neck, low cut or drooping dress to what might be loosely called a partial nude. Perfect for the miniature collector, don't miss it.

Very good condition. No chips or cracks in the ivory wafer or water damage to the painting. The frame is in great shape, original convex glass intact. See pictures for measurements.
