Interestingly carved 19th century boxwood inro with removable netsuke face. Eyes are made of mother of pearl and the teeth and liners at the hands are ivory. The box measures 3-7/8" tall, the base is 3-1/2" x 2-1/2" and the face is 1-3/4" x 1-5/8". There is a plug in the base and a small chip in the wood on the inside where the face rests. It does not interfere with holding the face in position. Will make the perfect addition to your collection.
