Antique Wood Cigarette Humidor or Tea Caddy

A fabulous antique wood box lined with porcelain in the lid and bottom. We believe this was used either as a cigarette or small cigar box, or perhaps for tea. Beautiful patina to the wood. There is a silver cartouche mounted on the lid which is engraved with the initials C (not sure on this one) S A. The type face leads us to believe the box may be of European origin. The box measures 5 1/2" x 4 3/8" and is 3 5/8" high. Lovely condition inside and out.
